The platform was established with the conviction that the OSV industry has been built by exceptional operators and vessel owners over many decades.

Our objective is to acquire and steward those businesses — preserving operational expertise, client relationships, and the industry knowledge developed by existing management teams. Where appropriate, existing owners and leadership are encouraged to remain involved following acquisition, ensuring continuity of culture and operations.

Mark leads Umbilicore’s strategic vision and acquisition strategy. He originated the platform’s OSV consolidation thesis and focuses on deal sourcing, industry relationships, and long-term platform development — working closely with advisors, operators, and capital partners to identify opportunities and build a globally competitive OSV platform.

Esa brings over 35 years of executive experience across both offshore customers and large offshore service providers. His career includes serving as Group CFO of Transocean, Seadrill, and ADNOC Drilling, as well as executive leadership at Shell and ADNOC. He also brings over 15 years of non-executive board experience, currently serving as Chair of the VR Group (Finnish National Rail).

Jeff brings more than 40 years of domestic and international experience in the oil and gas industry. He served as EVP and Chief Operating Officer of Tidewater Inc. — the world’s largest OSV operator — overseeing global operations across the Americas, Europe/Mediterranean, Africa, and Middle East/Asia Pacific. Prior to Tidewater he held senior roles at Schlumberger across multiple international markets.
